“I will sing a new song to You, O God;” – Psalm 144:9

“…as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts” – Colossians 3:16

From the very beginning of the formation of Christian churches in the singing of psalms and hymns had an important influence on the spiritual life of Christians. The first and the living example of singing in the church was the singing of Jesus Christ and the apostles at the Last Supper. “When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives” – Matthew 26:30

Singing may sound like a sermon about Christ. Through singing, we praise the Lord and his saving sacrifice, chanting of His Cross at Calvary feat. Through singing, we aspire view of faith to Christ. Singing hymns promotes faith. In Deuteronomy 31.19 we read: “Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel” – Deuter. 31:19

“Light of the World” church has  diverse and multifaceted music and singing. During service there are simple sound like hymns, performed by all members of the service, and solo, ensemble singing, instrumental groups.

The Church have two musical worship team, who take part in the Sunday service in the morning and evening. Children’s choir also organized, which takes part in the vigil.

We are responsible for the gifts received from God. “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights…” After receiving this gift, developing his serving of this gift of God and people, as those whom the Lord calls “…His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth”, we carry out God’s plan for his life. But his plans are much superior than ours! “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. “(Jeremiah 29: 11-13).
